As a side note, although weddings are technically classed with ‘events’, in our considerable experience we’ve noticed that the best wedding planners require a slightly different set of skills, talents and even personality traits to other event managers. As such, we treat wedding management and styling as a category unto itself. Click on our WEDDINGS link for information on the services we offer, including engagement party management, bachelor and bachelorette parties, kitchen teas, fashion styling and, of course, the weddings themselves.
These are just some of things we can take care of, either in collaboration with you or, if you prefer, behind the scenes (some aspects of planning a party can get fiddly and tedious without the right equipment or experience, and you might decide you’d rather leave those things to us)
- Maximising Your Budget (preventing your finance department/bank manager/father-in-law-to-be from lynching you when the bills come in).
- Finding and Securing a Perfect Venue (preventing feelings of déjà vu as guests arrive at the same venue they frequented the weekend before).
- Entertainment (so your guests don’t leave, and, in some cases, so that they do - think ‘exit music’ during an awards night).
- Meeting your Corporate Objectives (ensuring we stay on track and deliver exactly what you asked for.)
- Theme, Decor and Dressing (so it all looks fabulous! This will include you of course, especially, if you decide to use our personal stylist.)
- Sound, Lighting & Photography (so people can hear and see things when they need to, and not when they don’t).
- Food & Beverages (so no guest is left with a bad taste in her mouth.)
- Invitations (so your function is filled with the right people). The best invitations go out on tim, let guests know when and where to have you stood in front of your wardrobe desperately wondering what “dress code: funky town” translates to?).
- Speech Writing (especially pertinent for weddings, but also useful for corporate functions when the CEO simply doesn’t have time to mess about with a welcome address).
- Permits & Contracts (so you don’t have to get wound up in all the messy red tape, so everything runs smoothly on the night and, in regard to contracts, so lawyers can afford all the lattes they drink).
- Transfers (so guests come and go in style).
- Sponsors (to forge corporate relationships, to reduce your financial burden and to provide fabulous goodie bags for guests to take home, rummage through on the morning after, and remember just how swanky your party really was).
- VIP Special Treatment (because some people are Very Important (at least for the duration of your event) and should be made to feel so).
