Think of The Dandelion Project as a ‘couture’ events company, producing one-of-a-kind events where each element is customised to suit you (this is quite different from a large mass merchandiser with off-the-shelf, same-same events).
Our events are distinctly different from the usual fare. Instead of using ‘templates’ to churn out functions which all feel suspiciously alike, we customise every service, resulting in a different outcome on each and every occasion.
Even big cities are small worlds when it comes to social diaries. People tend to move in the same circles, which means they go to the same parties, which means you don’t want your event to look and feel just like something your guests have already attended.
Without exception, once we begin working on an event, it develops it’s own identity. An ensemble of experts will be at your disposal, regardless of the size or nature of your occasion.
Another point of difference we can (and do) boast about is the fact that we all agree upon one very big issue. Precision.
The term ‘attention to detail’ is wildly overused, so instead, let’s just say that we remain unsettled until everything within our control is perfect, and everything outside our control (like the weather) is accounted for with plans B through Z. The people we’re ordering about might not love us at the time, but invariably, the respect we earn leads to lasting, cooperative relationships.
Our troops have a wealth of qualifications, knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- event management: corporate and private
- wedding planning, producing and styling
- styling: personal and event
- writing and editing: speeches, advertising copy, wedding vows, ceremonies (in full or in part), personalised invitations and thank you notes, or even letters of apology (should you have too good a time at someone else’s event)
- law
- marketing and sponsorship
- public relations
- economics: including budget forecasting & analysis
- fashion and beauty
- nightclub and other venue management
- large indoor and outdoor festival management
Our senior event managers, all with experience in London, Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, the Gold Coast and Adelaide, have managed events for a number of prestigious companies and associations, including:
- Westfield Group
- Seven Network, Australia
- Pacific Magazines, Australia
- The American Australian Association Limited (AAAL)
Our stylists have managed and styled countless editorial fashion shoots and catwalk shows in Sydney and the UK, featuring talent the likes of supermodel Cheyenne Tozzie, UK celebrity model Jordan (aka Katie Price), and Sydney racing heiress Kate Waterhouse.
Over the years, they’ve forged sturdy working relationships with the all of the best creative makeup teams, including makeup artists from Napoleon Perdis, M.A.C, Lancôme, The Makeup Store and ModelCo (to name just a few).
All this experience and all of these contacts are accessible to our clients, allowing us to come up with some innovative treats for your guests (think celebrity makeup artists set up to provide ‘touch ups’ for female guests, stalls where guests can get a free manicure while sipping their champagne, and spectacularly impressive goodie bags which your guests can fossick through once they get home that evening)!
